Could have been a much closer game between the Pats and Colts, I don't believe I've ever seen so many dropped passes from so-called "proffesional receivers" in my entire lifetime, just a pitiful exhibition by the Colt receivers in general, really did cost them the game. On the other hand, goes with the territory. And being confident from past performances, I fully expect MR to sink slowly into the quagmire of oblivion, sink to the bottom of the picks while I slowly and surely make my way up the ladder and obtain my rightfull place of mediocrity, ever the optimist that I am.

OK, I don't come here much. But, I will say that after 30 plus years of hoping the Vikings do something, it is kind of encouraging to be able to give up so early in the season.
In endlessly dragging debates over the nedia, the stupid opinion is treated with the same respect as the intelligent one, the misinformed may talk as long as the informed, and propaganda rides along with education, truth with falsehood. Herbert Marcuse

Now for the rest, but first,

I've been really slammed at work, so haven't been able to participate as much I'd like either on this or the other threads. But hopefully things lighten up in the next few weeks. In the meantime, TP has some hoeing to do if he hopes to catch up to the genius that is mickey.

lol. Nobody need remember, please, my almost or perhaps actual sub-500 performance last season.

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons

Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans (I'm sorry, I just can't see the Bills being good.)

Los Angeles Chargers at Cleveland Browns

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals  (I think that if the Steelers could win this one, they could probably right the season, but I can't go heart over head).

Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets

Chicago Bears at Miami Dolphins (this should be a good test for your Bears, EZ, but will go with the sea as opposed to land.)

Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings

Carolina Panthers at Washington

Seattle Seahawks at Oakland Raiders

Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos

Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars at Dallas Cowboys (I've been picking the Cowboys every game it seems...to no great avail!)

Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots (definite game of the week, right? Veteran leadership and friendly homefield (not to mention refs) will give the Patsies a win.

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers (uh, yeah, even as bad as the Packers have been...)

I have to say, I'm the only one who has never had a losing week. Just saying. Let the octopus make your picks.

It's official, I suck this year and while I'm in the process of empathizing with losers of the past I can still overtake EZ and salvage a small iota of dignity. My one small morsel of crumbs last week, the Cowboys made a liar out of me and actually looked like they had an offense. I'm betting that was a fluke. On the other hand, my poor Niners lived up to expectations, close but no cigar.

Why the hell is everyone picking the Cards? They BARELY beat one of the worst teams in the League, the Niners (sorry TP) how are they going to beat a halfway decent team. For the nonce, DENVER tonight. Rest to follow. 900 million now. Yes, I will share the wealth. $5.00 MickeyD certificates on me for all!

Denver a halfway decent team? Keenum ranked 31rst at QB. Leads league in interceptions, half in the red zone. I struggled with this pick but Denver sucks and I think the Cards are up for a good night. Who are we to argue with you however? I may have to change my pick.

Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles

Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts

Cleveland Browns at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Detroit Lions at Miami Dolphins

Minnesota Vikings at New York Jets  - I know, a risky pick, but the Jets are playing well at  home this season.

New England Patriots at Chicago Bears

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars

New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens

Dallas Cowboys at Washington - I have to believe that at SOME point the Cowgirls will live up to their preseason hype.

Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs - (at least we hope!)

New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons

oh, and I reiterate,

Why the hell is everyone picking the Cards? They BARELY beat one of the worst teams in the League, the Niners (sorry TP) how are they going to beat a halfway decent team.
