This is really for those who claim Jesus is no different than other religious teachers, or even other folk.

For those who claim that such - do you really see no difference?   Give that some thought before commiting yourself to an answer here.

Jesus: For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe my words? Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrows and does not pay back, But the righteous is gracious and gives.

Ok, so I think it is understood that Jesus is unique.

Yes he is - do you know why?

I am not sure if it is willful ignorance or what to think he is not unique.

Every human is different, so if Jesus ever lived he was different.

I rather think the character Jesus was a fictional amalgum of several people, principally based on John the Baptist.

Shows your ignorance . Jesus didn't exist based on what YOU think. That is part of your overall problem. YOU think reality erxists as YOUR thoughts unfold them as you wish it to be.

No, you gormless twat, my acceptance of Jesus' existence, or much more likely, non-existence, is dependant on the non-biblical, written evidence.

I don't understand your last sentence.

Yes every human is different - but response is quite the copout.  LOL

As seen by your first post in this thread.   Hey, up to you and any others that wish to make the claim that Jesus is not really any different than any other religious teacher - whether you really think there is substance to that claim.

Jesus: For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe my words? Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrows and does not pay back, But the righteous is gracious and gives.

So Jesus is unique.  Quite unique from any other human that has walked the earth, and in particularl quite unique from every other religious teacher.

So to say he was made up is to give a lot of good credit to the writers of all 66 books of the Bible, and particularly for them making the effort to get together (somehow, given the period of time the books were written over) to coordinate their effort.

The writers of 66 books where contradictions abound.  Co-ordination is not always apparent.

They do contradict.    I do believe you may not see that - i would say the explanation is that you really do not want to see that.

We can look at this further, since you no longer dispute that Jesus is unique?

Jesus: For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe my words? Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrows and does not pay back, But the righteous is gracious and gives.
