I've noticed we can no longer use Photobucket without charge for posting images from PC.  Which I'm not willing to do.  The app is horrible as it is, so ad infested and slow it's not worth having.  (Click on photobucket icon and image icon in editor menu - neither can be used)
It's also possible to use Youtube to create a slide show or even single image but that too is super cumbersome.

How are members posting personal images now?  Does anyone know of other workaround methods?

You should also be aware, if you've posted pics in the past via photobucket, they will all have been removed and replaced with this:

Can't do that with Chromebook (Google controlled) unfortunately.  I capture images with Android, which syncs to Google + - sharing options are limited.  The only way I could manage it was with with Photobucket.  More trouble than it's worth.

I should have been clearer - I'm talking about how to post personal images.  This has been done by many, to post pictures of their pets mostly, travel pics, their homes, sometimes dinners/baked goodies, and so forth. I'd wanted to share a few taken in central and easter Europe with some members here who'd expressed interest.

car

This just now from my daughter's fb page. What I do is right click the image and 'open image in new tab', copy the address bar and then paste that into the URL address line when you click the 'insert image'. icon window that opens up. Sometimes you have to go through the little process twice, and you have to describe the image 'car' etc, or for some reason it won't post. I've never 'titled' an image tho. I use chrome too.

 Dun,

You have just received a wonderful gift.  Be sure to take a lot of time to enjoy this precious gift.  I know how wonderful it is to have grandchildren and what their love to you can do for your heart.  The best part is that you love them like you loved your children without the awesome responsibity for directing their life.  Free love.

Hey, Hawk, gorgeous!

I'm gonna be in your neck of the woods tomorrow (Humboldt), picking up my new-to-me RV, hopefully, if it passes inspection.  Yep, I did it.  I'm pretty darn proud of myself for saying, "No more waffling.  JUST DO IT!!!!"  I'm pursuing my dream of exploring the beautiful US of A, and parts of Canada, too -- albeit not full time until I can afford to retire and qualify for Medicare.    And probably only a couple times before winter hits this year.  :-(    We'll see.

Thanks, Yekyua.  I'm excited, even if I can't REALLY hit the trail for a few years yet. Hopefully,  I'll be a pro by the time I can do this more than a week or two at a time.

Lots of ways to post images.  The easiest for me is to open the picture in something like MS Paint and select and copy whatever polygon portion of the image I want and paste it right into the reply box. Takes a few seconds.

Going back to my B&W roots with this photo of the band I'm with.

Yep, method that is pretty much the same as skwanderer's still works:

  Using an Apple computer
  1. Open photo in "Preview"
  2. Hit "Select All" and then "Copy"
  3. Switch to FSA's 'Compose message' window and "Paste"

What did you wind up getting, Bees?

I can't afford new, so it's used.  It's a 2003 Born Free Casual Elegance, 26RSB.  It's got low miles (less than 40,000) and looks to be in good shape.  I've missed out on four or five because I couldn't pull the trigger.  Missed out on two last week in the same day, then had one of them call me and say if I wanted it, I could have it, and they'd tell the guy from California, who was trying to get the funds together, was going to fly out and look at it, leave it there, then have his brother and sister-in-law fly out in a few months and drive it back to California, that they had a local buyer with cash and were going to sell to me.

It's 26 feet, a Ford 350 engine, a couch and two chairs (with a pull-up table between the two chairs) and no dinette, which I just hate -- they're so uncomfortable -- bathroom (with shower), and full-time bed, not one you have to pull out and make up each night, stove, fridge/freezer, sink.

I really thought this through.  There's always a trade off, six of one, half-dozen with the other, between a travel trailer you tow and a motorhome.  Motorhomes are much easier to drive AND back up.  I've never towed anything before.  And they're safer -- you never have to get out if you find yourself boondocking in a not so safe looking area.  But then you don't have a car when you get where you're going.  For now, I will not get a toad (a car you pull behind for when you get to your destination), and this thing isn't like 40 feet long, so much easier to manuever in the grocery store parking lot.  Someone suggested renting cars when you get where you want to be, and you'd have to rent a lot of cars to make up for the lost mileage, the initial purchase cost, the insurance and maintenance of a toad.  ~shrugs~

I've attached a few pictures.

That video, Skrumpie, is exactly what this one is like.  Don't know why the pics didn't show up.

Initially, I was looking at a rear bath, which is a much larger bath and a little bit larger kitchen but no full-time bed except over the cab.  When you're buying used, you can't be that picky.  I missed out on one in Nevada and Virginia, St. Louis and Florida.  I got tired of looking and wanted to start doing.

I haven't driven it yet.  Getting acquainted tomorrow.  I did put $2,000 down to hold it, and I'm taking a cashier's check with me for the balance and then driving it home tomorrow, if it passes inspection.

It's supposedly as easy to drive as a van or a truck.  I'll let you know if I was lied to or not.  The couple I'm buying it from, the wife told me that if her husband was tied up, she'd drive to where they were going and set up and he'd show up when his commitment was over.  If she can do it, I should be able to do it.  We'll know tomorrow.  ~gulp~

I have an 81 year old friend who drives a, what is it called?  Class A?  Has for years.  It's a bus.  She says it is easier to drive than a car.

You'll do fine.  If you ever come through North Georgia, I'll buy you dinner!
