Easy,

There are so many candidates running to expand our Social Security system. Around the country, progressives are poised to take the House of Representatives by recognizing what we have been saying for years: There is a retirement income crisis in this country, and the only way to address it is by expanding Social Security.

We have less than a week to make sure these candidates win, so we are setting a goal. We need to raise $10,000 for to help get our champions across the finish line and into the House. Can you join us?

Sen. Mitch McConnell is calling for cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid in the next Congress. But if these candidates prevail, Mitch's wish won't stand a chance.

Jon "Bowzer" Bauman, President of the Social Security Works PAC, has held 57 events around the country with these candidates, all of whom endorsed expanding Social Security, expanding Medicare and Medicaid, lowering drug prices, and never calling your earned benefits 'entitlements.' And in every district he visited, we send our questionnaire to the Republican opponent. No Republican even bothered to return the questionnaire.

Thanks for fighting with us.

Alex Lawson
Executive Director
Social Security Works PAC

Easy,

Two weeks before this November’s election, Sen. Mitch McConnell called for Democrats to join him in his plan to cut Social Security and Medicare to pay for Trump’s $2 trillion tax giveaway to billionaires and corporations.

One problem with McConnell’s plan: 175 Democrats in the House of Representatives have already endorsed expanding Social Security, increasing benefits to address the retirement security crisis. And November’s elections could add another 60+ members to that number.

Thanks to your hard work, Congressional candidates around the country have boldly stated that if elected they will work to expand Social Security and Medicare and lower prescription drug prices. Many of them are locked in tight races that could go either way.

With just one week to go until Election Day, your support could be the difference in these tight races. Click here to donate to future Social Security champions who need our help to win on November 6th.

These candidates have gone on the record in favor of expanding Social Security in their races:

EZ, your progressive powerhouse train that you have been touting has brought in all of $50,000 in all of 2018.  They've spent $40,000 of it and want to raise $10,000 more.

Just how effective, in a country that pours millions of dollars into ONE RACE, do you think $60,000 could possibly be?

Grass roots skrumpie, do you know anything about such campaigns and the possibilities they present? Ideas are power. People are power. Truth is power. Your obsession with wealth and labels is really distastefully childish, and frankly very stupid. It's not worthy as a part of any intelligent argument.
