EVERYONE has CHOICES they make in life. EVEN though proper nutrition and diet WOULD go a long way to eliminate MANY disorders and some illnesses, we also have the FREEDOM to choose as SOME have the freedom to do destructive things to their bodies, even when it is NOT prudent or beneficial.

HOWEVER, when people make destructive choices for their bodies ( smoking, excessive drinking, ignoring doctors' advice, choosing junk foods etc) , the OTHER people who do NOT go down this path oughtn't to be MADE to pay for thosde who CHOOSE to do HARm to their bodies.

Wait, EZ, weren't you a former smoker up to, say, a year ago? So if you come down with cancer in a year or two, are you eligible for treatment? Also, I don't like the principle in general. We ALL do harm to our bodies. Have you drunk alcohol in your life, EZ? Do you realize that every drink destroys brain cells? That it impacts your liver, that even if you don't get cirrhosis, it decreases the efficiency of the liver's function, which is critical to good health in other areas? So can I say that anyone who has drunk more than one drink per week for more than 5 years should be denied ANY medical care because I can, if I wish, correlate ANY illness they have with their drinking via the liver? And don't let's talk about Alzheimers or other forms of dementia. Excessive alcohol use linked to early-onset dementia risk ... https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/20/health/alcohol-disorder-dementia... Feb 20, 2018 · Excessive alcohol use could increase your risk for all types of dementia, particularly early-onset dementia, according to a new study. My point is that the decay of the human body is natural. So too is doing things to it that hasten that decay in other areas. Should former joggers, who ran miles on hard pavements, something the feet were NOT designed to do, be denied podriatic care if they develop turf toe or something like that? Should former tennis players be denied treatment for tennis elbow? Hell, if you want to get serious, your choice of job can lead to chronic decisions. We all know ahead of time that people who use a keyboard and monitor develop eye and carpal tunnel problems, should they be denied care on the grounds that they CHOSE to do harm to their bodies?

Shut the fuck up mickey, nowhere do I advocate for not treating disease or illness. Stop giving me your verbal diarrhea. I'm well aware of all the little micro points you felt you needed to list. You're talking out your ass boy. I suggest you listen to the OP, because your comments are ridiculous

The point in the OP that was clear and easy to understand, is that, simply put.... cutting meat and dairy from our diets would lead to saving trillions in health care. Since around 70% of hospital patients are being treated for diseaes caused by eating meat and dairy products. SCIENCE dickhead, SCIENCE that's all. I realize that most blabbermouth weaklings like yourself are not able to make hard changes in their lives without a gun pointed at their heads. Fortunately, sometimes \I am able to make positive changes only because they are beneficial to muyself and the world in general.

You can chow down on all the meat , dairy and sugarty shit you like. I don't give a shit, but there may be one person that took the info in the spirit it was given. GFY

Actually, since around 80% of healthcare costs occur with old farts and end stages of life, at best you postpone the costs. And, dare I make the case. People who smoke, die early and therefore have less healthcare costs than healthy people. It would almost surely be true here as well. BAD HABITS LOWER OUR COSTS CUZ PEOPLE DIE SOONER

Do you realize that every drink destroys brain cells? ___ Yes, and a few of us cant drink fast enough to be able to tolerate the brain cell levels of some of our members and many americans…..say about 38-40% of americans…..who think Trump is dong a fine job, evolution and climate change are lies, and Jesus will be coming back in our lifetime. Who wouldn't drink too much with that knowledge?

Actually nate, your assumptions are false. Getting old doesn't cause disease or illness. You, like many others believe that myth. I sugggest you do some research before you whip out your flaccid mythical perception.

Is there a problem with watching and listening to the doctor in the short OP video?

A hint............there are many people who live long and healthy lives, with rare visits to a hospital. Old age doesn't send you there. Accidents causing structural damage does, but how many old folks are in hospital for bone breaks, compared to heart disease, diabetes and cancer, the 3 biggies that are mainly caused by what you feed your body with.

I'll try to take a pass on preventable heart disease, and try to avoid preventable cancers and preventable diabetes.

You go ahead and convince yourself I'm full of it. Your choice. I'll go make a nice green smoothie in my brand new Vitamix.  lol

Not that it matters, but I haven't had a drink or a drug in 10 years now. Haven't eaten meat or dairy in 2 years now. I feel great, I'm in great shape and all my blood work is good, etc.
