Lest We Forget

What I've Learned About U.S. Foreign Policy

Video

The history of the terrorism conducted by the CIA, since the end of the World War II when countries in Asia and Latin America, were trying to make changes to improve their economical and political situation, the Unite States realized that it was not good for their status as new super power; and began a new campaign, with only one rule, Anything Goes.

This is the story of the terrorism of the CIA.

As in all countries, the whole is better than some of its parts. Some of our parts take things into their own hands and don’t represent us at all. The public is not informed and if truth leaks, spin. The lies told are because we are better people and they know it, but can’t figure out how to get things done according to our principles. Losers covering up their failures because we unwittingly put them in positions they can’t handle any other way. It’s not just our foreign policy that gets beyond reason: people everywhere have to deal with inept governing entities from time to time.

Quite an accuarte statement nickel.  Did you watch any or all of the video? I found it an interesting use of time, if for no other reason but to hear some objective truths.  lol

This is a short one that kind of goes hand in hand with it. I only wonder if we will ever get to the point where people actually revolt. "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave" ????  really

For whatever reason I Usually can’t play the video posts. I tried again because you asked, and it was a torturous review of the past. Dark, very dark and I got as far as genocide by sanctions.... The past, untangling the errors, deceptions, what’s to be done to prevent such abuses in our name is no clearer. Are the right people being punished or just the fall guys? The earth is over populated. It cannot sustain an increase. Is the death toll related? Is it our global business interests, the oil industry, our military industrial complex, that work to their mutual interests which corrupt our government. Is it our government that is culpable or just bad apples with the upper hand. Can it really all go back to the court decision that recognized the life of a corporation? My solution for the lack of representative government is to only allow campaign contributions to come from residents of a voting district. If you don’t have a vote you can’t give a dollar to the campaign. Also, I have always liked Australia’s argument for compulsory voting and the fine they impose on those who don’t vote. Given that only 25% vote in this country, we should be ready for that discussion. If you’re looking to bring the country together, compulsory military service will do that and eliminate the need for a military industrial complex, provide skilled labor, and educated people to innovate for a middle class, similar to what flowered after WWII. My head hurts.......lol

An educated populace isn’t easy to come by, but there’s really no excuse for what passes as education in America, today. We have a public education system, has to take everyone. Not a single tax dollar should find its way into private schools. The worst thing that happened to schools in America was the shift from criterion referenced to social promotion. Preventing scars that make students stronger..... The beauty of wage slavery is that good people don’t have time to figure out what’s going on in school, in the city, county, state, or Congress. The media focus on entertainment and leave the boring, but essential news to the other guys, a survival skill for them, but not for the people. Social media has promise though in hindsight it seems the Arab Spring failed.

I know what you mean. We are currently witnessing the deep state and the Democrat Party participating in a coup within our own country.
